14th Ward Democratic Committee ZOOM Common Pleas Forum

The 14th Ward Democratic Committee will be hosting a ZOOM meeting for Common Pleas Court Candidates on Thursday, February 6th 7 PM     ZOOM ONLY

Dear 14th Ward Dem Committee and Friends:

We take the selection of judicial candidates very seriously, and this year, with looming threats to vulnerable members of our community, deciding who sits in judgement of others is more important than ever.

We have two upcoming Zoom meetings for the judicial candidates for Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas.

• Feb 6 Part - 14 candidates. Below is the list of candidates who will speak at this meeting.
• Feb 13 Part 2 - 8 candidates, but additional candidates may sign up to speak.

We will begin promptly at 7 PM so please join the Zoom meeting at least 5 minutes early so we can let everyone into the meeting. We are anticipating a large audience. Committee members from other wards and committee will be joining us.

All participants will be muted and cameras off.

All candidates have completed our 14th Ward Judicial Candidate Questionnaire. We urge you to take the time now to read over each candidate’s questionnaire. Here is the link to all candidates’ completed questionnaires.

Candidates will have 3 minutes to speak and 4 minutes to answer questions.

All questions for candidates must be put in the chat. Leeann Younger will follow the chat and ask the candidates your questions.

Please prepare your questions in advance as you read through their questionnaires. And post them quickly so don’t have a big lag between the end of their statements and beginning of questions.

The meeting will be recorded and posted on the 14th Ward Democratic Committee YouTube Channel.

This is our opportunity to learn more about each candidate, their experience that has prepared them to sit in judgement of others, and their views that will shape their decisions.
