By-Laws Updates and Convention

We are pleased to announce that the By-laws Committee has completed its year-long review of the Allegheny County Democratic Committee By-Laws.   The committee has produced a proposed set of changes that closely reflect the responses from the By-laws Questionnaire that was circulated last year. In addition to substantive changes the format has been changed to make it easier to read and understand.

By-Laws Convention Meeting

In order for the by-laws to be amended, a countywide meeting, with at least a quorum of 400 committee members, is planned for:

May 11, 2024 at Northgate High School from 9AM – Noon

591 Union Avenue, Bellevue, PA 15202

At that meeting, any proposed changes must be approved by a majority of the committee members present.

The regional meetings and the convention are for committee members only.
