North Fayette Community Days - Democratic Committee Tabling

We are inviting all Democratic candidates on the November ballot to our annual community days event!

When:  Saturday, August 9, 2pm-10pm

Where:  Donaldson Park, 590 Donaldson Rd, Oakdale

We will have a booth for our Democratic Committee - there will be activities for the children (tattoos and free bubble wands) in order to get voters to stop and talk.  You will be able to meet and greet as well as have signups for volunteering/mailing lists.  We have found that signs aren't always popular as no one wants to walk around with them. The organizers have told us formally "no literature" but I have seen others distribute so perhaps we can bring it until we are told otherwise.

Generally our busiest times are 3-6pm but this year there is a concert from 7-10 before the fireworks so that may pull more voters in.  They are also adding inflatables, a petting zoo, and pony rides this year to help increase the traffic flow. They also (wisely) have moved it to not compete with other area festivals to help increase the draw this year.
