CANCELED: South Park Democratic Committee 2025 Annual Picnic in the Park

Due to the nationwide #NoKingsProtests taking place on October 18, the South Park Democratic Committee’s Annual Picnic has been canceled.

Our event date was chosen before the protests were announced, but with many supporters joining the demonstrations, we didn’t reach the minimum catering requirement.

We fully support participation in the No Kings protests and encourage everyone to make their voices heard.

South Park Democrats 2025 Annual Picnic in the Park

Saturday, October 18, 2025 • 3:00 PM – 6:30 PM
Silent Brook Barn, 2161 100 Acres Dr, Bethel Park PA 15102 (opens in new tab)
(across from the South Park Ice Rink parking lot on Corrigan Drive)

The South Park Democratic Committee invites you to our 4th Annual Democratic Outreach Picnic at Silent Brook Barn—a cozy indoor venue surrounded by two shaded groves with plenty of room to mingle.

Come enjoy a fall afternoon of food, fellowship, and fun while meeting neighbors, candidates, and elected officials who care about South Park’s future.

Dinner by Pasta Too – served at 5:00 PM
Beverages Provided – non-alcoholic drinks, beer & White Claw
Remarks from candidates & officials – 4:00 PM
Door Prize Auction & Free Raffle – 6:00 PM – including Hundred Acres Manor Haunted House admission prizes!

For anyone who wants to stay a little longer, enjoy hay-wagon rides to the Haunted House around 7 PM and possibly a bonfire in the adjacent grove.

Schedule:

• 3:00 PM – Event opens
• 4:00 PM – Speakers’ remarks
• 5:00 PM – Dinner served (by Pasta Too)
• 6:00 PM – Door prize auction & raffle drawings
• 7:00 PM + – Optional hay-wagon ride & bonfire
